Baptism Service
On Wednesday, July 29th, our Summer Sizzle will be held at Carey Lake. During that evening, we are going to have a baptism service for all who have not yet been baptized. To sign up to be baptized that evening, please circle the letter “B” at the bottom of your connection card.

Wednesday Meal Connection
We will continue our Meal Connection ministry this fall on Wednesday evenings if we are able to get volunteers to make it happen. If you have already been involved or would like to get involved, there will be an informational luncheon on July 19th following the 2nd AM service. Lunch will be provided. To RSVP, call the church office.

Missions Trip Meeting
Hey El Salvador team, there will be a meeting next Sunday the 12th at 1:45 PM in the Family Life Center. Please remember to bring all your homework, your passports, and a 3-4 minute written copy of your testimony. See you then!!!

Parent Meeting
Do you have a child involved with the Children’s Church? Pastor Jake would enjoy meeting you. Please join him in the Fellowship hall on Sunday, July 12 after second service. This will be a time of getting to know one another and break bread together as lunch will be provided. Please RSVP by contacting the church office.

New Beginnings Picnic
Attention Seniors!!! It’s that time of summer when we all gather together for the New Beginning’s Summer Picnic. This year’s picnic is on July 16th at noon in the Fellowship Hall. There will be great food, music, and other activities. Come on out and reconnect with the New Beginnings crew.

Pastor Dave’s Book Club
We are moving along through our book, “In A Pit With A Lion On A Snowy Day.” If you would like to get the thoughts for the week from one of our staff or board members, click here. There you can subscribe, read, and comment on all the weekly posts regarding our current book. Also, all weekly posts will be printed and placed at the reception desk for anyone who does not have internet access.

There is Children’s Ministry for all ages starting at 9:15 AM. Children under age 5 check in downstairs and children in K-6th grade need to be checked in at the Family Life Center.

Wednesday Summer Sizzle Schedule
July 1
McCarthy Beach Day! We have reserved the picnic shelter all day! Come for as long as you’d like. We will be having a pot-luck supper beginning at 5:30 PM. There is a fee for parking at the State Park.

July 8
Minnesota Discovery Center (formerly Ironworld) 5-8:30 PM. Admission $3/person (6 & under free). Restaurant open, trolley rides, miniature golf, scavenger hunt & genealogy program. Current exhibit: “The Scoop on Poop.”

July 15
Bon-fire Fellowship. Come for an evening of fellowship,
lawn games, & a bon-fire behind the Coffee House.

July 22
Ice Cream Social 6-8:00 PM. We will also be honoring
Pastor Ryan & Lauren at this time.

July 29
Carey Lake / Baptism 5-8:30 PM. Snacks provided; bring a picnic supper if you’d like! Baptism service @ 7:00 pm

Volunteer Opportunities
Did you know that there are many people in our area that would love to come to church each Sunday but have no transportation? In order to meet this need, we need individuals who would be willing to drive the church van one Sunday morning a month to pick up individuals who have no transportation. If you would like to be a part of the solution, contact the church office.

Lake Geneva 09
Yes, summer has arrived and you know what that means... Camp! This year our church will be attending Sr. High Camp 2, which will be held July 27th - 31st. You should have already received information and registration forms in the mail, but if you have not feel free to contact Pastor Ryan or Lauren. We will meet at the church the morning of July 27th and ride down together. If you or your teenager is planning on attending Lake Geneva Camp and would like a ride, please contact the church office so we can save you a spot on the van. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
