The Rev. Summer Schedule
If you are a student going into 7-12th check out The Revolution on Friday nights at 6:30pm throughout the entire summer (June 11th-August 27th) The night will kick off with a fun outdoor activity, music, and a relevant message. Revolution Student Ministries will not be meeting August 13th due to the Inner City Chicago Trip.

Understanding Islam
On Sunday, August 1st at 8 & 9:30am, Jill Torgerson will be teaching on “Understanding Islam” in the fellowship hall. This teaching will take the place of our coffee groups for the day. The Body of Christ has one of the greatest opportunities in the days ahead to reach Muslim people coming to America.

Kid’s Trip To Wild Mountain
This summer was awesome! Lets start the school year off right with a day trip out to Wild Mountain on August 19th. All kids and parents are invited. The Cost is $20 per person and we will leave the church at 6am. Check with Pastor Jake for permission forms for the kids.

During the summer months, the elementary aged kids will meet in the sanctuary with the adults. After worship they will be released to Kid’s Church and can be picked in the Family Life Center.

Wednesday Night Summer Sizzle Schedule

August 4th “McCarthy’s Beach” w/ Potluck Dinner
We have rented the lodge at the McCarthy’s Beach State Park. We will have a potluck dinner at 5:30pm. Beverages will be provided. Also, we have rented kayaks and canoes for your enjoyment. Pastor Jake would also like to take all kids grade 3-6 to the park earlier in the day to hang out and have fun. If your child would like to be a part of the fun, drop them of at the church by 1pm. You can pick them up at the park or at the church once the evening is over. Everyone coming to the park will have to check in at the park office and get a parking pass.
Thursday, August 12th Minnesota Discovery Center
We will joining the public on this night and enjoy all the activities and sites at the Minnesota Discovery Center. There will be trolley rides, mini golf, and many other activities available. MDC is open from 5-9pm and admission is free.
August 18th “Be The Church”
It’s time for not just attending another service or activity but instead to put our faith into action and BE THE CHURCH. We will assisting Habitat for Humanity in building a home for a family right here in our community. We will have more details including times and location next week.

Golf Connection Group
Each Friday evening, everyone is welcome to join the golf connection group at the Hibbing Municipal Course. Tee time is at 6pm. Come on out and join others from the church for a round of golf.
