Pastoral Staff
Pastor Dave Oler,
Senior Pastor, was
born and raised in Dayton, Ohio and then spent several years in Fort
Myers, Florida. While in Fort Myers, he received ministry training and
credentials through Fort Myers Master’s Commission. His wife Melissa
grew up in Bemidji, Minnesota and also spent several years in Fort Myers
in ministry training. After serving for two years as an Associate
Pastor in Fort Myers, Dave and Melissa sensed the call to the Iron
Range. They currently have two children. Dave and
Melissa are excited to be a part of a wonderful church family and
community.
 Pastor
Ryan Plute, Student Ministries Pastor, was born in Wichita,
Kansas and lived there for 12 years. Because of his father's job
transfer, he moved to Owasso, Oklahoma. He graduated from high school
there and then attended Southwestern Assemblies of God University in
Texas for one year. After completing his freshman year there, he then
went to Fort Myers Master’s Commission in Florida for three years, where
he met his wife Lauren. She grew up in Lexington, Kentucky
and also attended Master's Commission for three years. They are both
very excited to be here and are looking forward to what God will do in
and through their lives in Hibbing.

Wesley Buck, Children and Family Ministries Pastor, was born and raised
in Elmhurst, Illinois. He graduated from John Brown University in
Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Wesley has been on staff at churches in
Michigan, Montana, and Minnesota as a children’s pastor and music
pastor. During his ministry in Montana, he met and married his
wife Donna. Donna was born and raised in Pt. Pleasant, West
Virginia. She also spent several years in Cincinnati, Ohio,
graduating from God’s Bible School and teaching at Christian schools.
Wesley and Donna are very excited about what God has in store for kids
and their families here at First Assembly. If you are looking for
